DesignWiz Welcomes 1invites to Its Platform

1invites is now designwiz

πŸŽ‰ 1invites is now part of DesignWiz. Design the invitation, track every reply, print or share it β€” then build the rest of the event around it.
Try DesignWiz Invitation Maker

Today we’re adding an invitation product to DesignWiz. 1invites β€” an invitation maker used by hosts, wedding planners and event businesses for years, rated 4.7 on both app stores β€” joins the platform as Invitation Maker by DesignWiz.

This isn’t us collecting another template category. It’s the missing front door to the platform.

Why invitations, and why now

Every other product on DesignWiz starts with a business that has something to promote. The invitation starts somewhere different: someone has a date, a place and a list of names.

That sounds simpler. It is not.

An invitation is the single most information-dense thing most people will ever design. Names of two families, a venue with a link that must be tapped correctly, a date that has to survive translation into three time zones in the same chat group, a dress code, a “no gifts” line that has to be polite, an RSVP deadline, and a tone that tells your cousin and your CEO the same event is serious. Get one field wrong and the design is worthless regardless of how beautiful it is.

And then the actual job begins: who’s coming. That part has never been a design problem. It’s a coordination problem β€” and most invitation tools abandon the user at exactly the point where the work gets hard.

We’ve said since the beginning that DesignWiz is not a general-purpose design tool. We don’t want a canvas and a shrug. We want the whole job, end to end. An invitation product that stops at the download would have been off-strategy for us. 1invites didn’t stop there β€” it was built around tracking who replied. That’s what made it worth adding.

What 1invites brings that a “generic” design tool won’t

A workflow, not a template.

  1. Design β€” start from a template or from an AI-generated draft, edit in place
  2. Personalise β€” one message, per-guest detail where the occasion needs it
  3. Send β€” digital card, shareable link, print-ready file
  4. Track β€” who replied, who hasn’t, who’s bringing three people
  5. Follow up β€” nudges without a spreadsheet
  6. Confirm β€” final headcount for the caterer, the venue, the printer
  7. Extend β€” the poster, the reminder post, the program, the thank-you

That last step is where the platform pays off. A couple designing a wedding invite in DesignWiz can generate a welcome poster, a table card and a set of matching social announcements in the same session, on the same brand kit.

The RSVP is the data that makes the design useful

Here’s a detail most people skip. Once replies arrive, you know the real headcount, the real mix of adults and kids, the real “declined” pattern. In a business context that’s marketing information. A venue, a caterer, a brand running a launch party or a webinar now has confirmed attendance sitting next to the assets that produced it β€” in the same account as the flyer, the menu and the social set.

Nothing else in the ecosystem hands us that. For food and hospitality businesses, who are already our biggest users of Menu Maker, it’s directly useful: an event dinner needs a menu and a headcount.

What this means for the future

We’ll keep investing in the same five things we always list, with invitations now part of each:

  • professionally designed, occasion-accurate templates
  • workflow features that finish the job (RSVP, guest lists, follow-ups)
  • AI that understands context β€” invitation wording behaves differently from menu copy
  • industry-specific and region-specific resources: event planners, venues, caterers, schools, and the high-volume celebration markets where invitations are treated as a reflection of the host, not a formality
  • faster routes from “we’ve decided” to “it’s sent”

For the 1invites community

You were already doing the hardest part of this well. The apps remain available, your saved designs, guest lists and subscription terms are unchanged, and the same team’s roadmap now sits inside a bigger platform with more engineers, a shared AI engine and a wider template library pointed at your use case.

We’re glad you’re here. Same as always: this is an upgrade, not a rename.

Ready when you are

Thank you for being part of our journey.
